ADR Law
ADR, or Alternative Dispute Resolution, law refers to the legal framework and practices governing methods of resolving disputes outside of traditional courtroom litigation. ADR methods include mediation, arbitration, negotiation, and other collaborative processes. ADR law establishes the rules and procedures for initiating and conducting these processes, the qualifications and roles of mediators and arbitrators, the enforceability of mediated settlements and arbitral awards, and the limited judicial review of ADR decisions. ADR provides parties with a more flexible, confidential, and cost-effective means of resolving disputes, allowing for greater control over the outcome. ADR law aims to promote efficient and amicable dispute resolution, reducing the burden on the court system.
